Rusty Smith - Production Designer
|

As seen in this image scanned from the DVD box and captured from
a frame of the movie, Rusty Smith was the Production Designer for
"Austin Powers The Spy Who Shagged Me", a 1999 New Line Cinema
film.
While at Furman, Rusty won the national 1st place award for
student scene design in 1982 for his design for "The Servant of Two
Masters". After leaving Furman, he went on to get his MFA in design
at Yale. He designed a production of BLOOD KNOT on Broadway while at
Yale.
He has done numerous theatrical designs for companies all over
the country. .
In the last several years, he has been working in the movie
industry - now as a Production Designer (He also designed the recent
release, "Mystery Alaska")
Rusty lives with his wife Connie and children in Los
Angeles.
