Anne Allgood

This is Anne Allgood in her costume as the Vase of Flowers in the Broadway show, Beauty and the Beast. Anne also understudied a Teapot! She joined the company in October, 1995. Annie is now touring the country in the road production of Beauty and the Beast. Her Greenville friends hope to be able to see her in the show and visit with her when the company is in residence in Atlanta at the Fox from October 04 - November 11.

Anne graduated in 1982 and has worked in a variety of fascinating theatre jobs. She has been seen in many regional theatres and on several occasions on Broadway as well. Her other Broadway credits include Carousel and The Most Happy Fella. In Regional theatres, touring and off-broadway she has appeared in Nunsense, Evita, South Pacific (with Robert Goulet!), Beyond Therapy, Blithe Spirit, Talking With, The Bathhouse, City of Angels, Pal Joey, Das Barbecu, Tintypes, Candide (at the Guthrie), A Little Night Music, Eleanor, Annie and Hello Dolly (both off and ON Broadway).

We are proud of Anne for the wide variety and quality of the work that she has done since leaving Furman!
