Eric Harrell

This is Eric Harrell and his partner, Ileana Shaner demonstrating
a part of their Aikido routine that earned them the World
Championship and Gold Medal at the 1996 Shin Toitsu Aikido World Cup
held in Tochigi, Japan. This was a special accomplishment and honor
as this competition held by one of the world's two largest Aikido
organizations and Eric and Ileana were the only non-Japanese awarded
medals during the competition.
Eric graduated in 1982 and has been the director of McAlister
Auditorium at Furman since that time.
