Kim Julian
|
Graduated senior drama major, Kimberly Michelle Julian has been
elected for membership in Phi Beta Kappa.
Kim's first role was Madama Danzard in MY SISTER IN THE HOUSE.
She also played Madame Pernelle in TARTUFFE and Pamela Fulton in
CAT'S CRADLE.
Most of Kim's work in the production program has been in the
technical areas. She has stage managed, built scenery, run the box
office, built costumes, master electrician, light board operator and
prop crew head. Working with guest director William Martin on our
last production, Kim served as Assistant Director. She ran rehearsals
completely during the time that Dr. Martin was not able to be with
the production. She is currently in the last stages of rehearsal for
a production of NO EXIT, which she is directing.
Kim has served with distinction as the head scenic shop assistant
this year.
We are proud of the academic accomplishment of this fine student.
Those who work regularly in the area of academic theatre know of the
enormous demands on the time and energies made by a production
program. To be able to balance academic and production pressures and
maintain an excellent grade point average is a notable
achievement.
