"Hodges No." refers to the species' number assigned in a check list of North American moths:

                  Check List of the Lepidoptera of America North of Mexico, Ronald W. Hodges et al., editiors, (1983). E.W. Classey Ltd. and
                  The Wedge Entomological Research Foundation (London).

This check list is sometimes called the "MONA List" (Moths of North America).
