Becoming a Member of the Lepidopterists' Society


Membership in the Society is open to all persons interested in the study of Lepidoptera. All members receive the Journal and the News of the Lepidopterists' Society. Institutions may subscribe to the Journal but may not become members. Prospective members should send to the Assistant Treasurer full dues for the current year, together with their full name, address, and special lepidopterological interests. In alternate years, a list of members of the Society is issued, with addresses and special interests.

Although an official application blank is not necessary, it allows new members to easily provide information for inclusion in the Membership Directory. Current fees are:

Active members, regular---- annual dues $45.00 ($50.00 if mailing address is outside of the United    States)
Student members----annual dues $20.00
Sustaining members----annual dues $60.00
Affiliate members----$10.00
Life members----single sum $1400.00
Institutional subscriptions----annual $60.00
