Membership in the Society is on a calendar-year basis (January-December) and is open to all. Membership renewal bills are mailed in November each year.

Special Membership Promotion Offer for a Limited Time Only!

Persons who have never been members of the Society and previous members who have been away from membership for at least five years: a Student, Active, or Sustaining membership purchased at the regular posted rate will include the remainder of the current year PLUS the 12 months of the following calendar year. All regular publications are included in this offer. This offer expires on December 31, 2007.

Membership categories are: Active (regular), Affiliate*, Student, Sustaining, and Life. Institutional subscriptions are also available. Members in all categories (except Affiliate) receive the quarterly Journal of The Lepidopterists' Society and all issues of the NEWS published during the calendar year (currently 5-6 issues, including the Season Summary and biennial Membership Directory). Members also receive substantial discounts on Society publications.

(* "Affiliate Membership" is available for persons in the same household and address as the full dues-paying member. Only one set of publications is sent to that address.)
