  NOCTUIDAE

Apamea remissa

This is another big, dark noctuid that flies into my apartment in the summer and dashes energetically about the room. It was formerly called A. indocilis, but is now merged with the European species A. remissa known as the Dark Brocade, which is known to feed on grasses.
