FURMAN WOMEN'S SOCCER RANKED IN REGION
GREENVILLE, SC -- The Furman women's soccer team is ranked 8th in the latest Soccer Buzz Southeast Region ranking and 9th in the NSCAA Southeast Region rankings after winning the Southern Conference regular season title with a perfect 9-0 record. Furman has been ranked in the region's top ten for the entire season.
The Lady Paladins, who have already set a school record for wins in a season with 15, defeated Appalachian State 3-0 and East Tennnessee State 5-0 last week. Along with wins in a season, Furman has set school records for shutouts, goals, assists, and road wins this year.
The Lady Paladins are 15-2 on the season and travel to face Georgia State tomorrow at 4 p.m. The The Lady Paladins return home for their final regular season contest Friday against 23rd-ranked Iowa. | |||||
