Announcement:
As of 10/02/2008 Furman University will be using Campus TeleVideo (CTV) for residential and academic cable needs. Students that have contracted additional services from Charter Communications need to contact Charter to end these services. Charter Communication services will not function with the new cable provider.
Troubleshoot your cable connection:
We apologize for any inconvenience that you may be experiencing with your Campus TeleVideo connection. Before submitting a service order, please troubleshoot the problem.
| PROBLEM | TROUBLESHOOT |
| You are not receiving channels 80 or higher. | Furman's line-up does not offer these channels. |
| You are receiving poor reception. | Try adjusting the cable cord or try a new cord. |
| You are only receiving a few channels. | Your TV is probably not set for cable, rather for antenna. Go to the menu on your TV and set your TV to cable. |
