American Institute of Graphic Arts Student Chapter (AIGA)
The AIGA Furman University Student Chapter is affiliated with the Charlotte professional chapter. The two chapters are committed to developing and encouraging students to take the first step in demonstrating a commitment to their professional interest in design and assisting them in understanding the profession through lectures, studio tours, internships, and portfolio reviews.

Art Students’ League
The Art Students’ League is an organization of art majors and other interested Furman students and friends. The league is student-run and meets throughout the year to encourage camaraderie, interest and growth in the visual arts through a variety of social activities, field trips, workshops and lectures. In May the league also sponsors an Annual Art Sale of student and faculty artworks to benefit special projects for students in the department.
