Majors are required to take a minimum of eight courses. All majors must take Com 20 and one other course from Section One and Com 30 and 40 and three other courses from Section Two. Only one course from Section Three may count towards the major. To graduate with a degree in Communication Studies, students must have a 2.0 grade-point average for courses that satisfy the major requirements. Majors will work with their advisors to select classes suited to their individual needs. All majors and non-majors are encouraged to take Com 20 before taking any other course in Section One, Com 30 before taking Com 32-38, and Com 40 before taking Com 42-46.
