An introductory course in Music Technology (electronic communications, MIDI sequencing and notation, digital audio, and multimedia) through the use of software and hardware in Daniels Music Classroom. Goals of the course are lab competence, understanding of basic concepts, and the completion of an individual project.
A notebook for in-class work
Several 3.5" floppy disks; a protective case for your disks.
Students are responsible for all material presented in class, and on the course website, including announcements about changes in course procedures.
NOTE: There will be no hardcopy handouts or text for this course.

Assignments
There will be two assignments. Assignment #1 = 15%; Assignment #2 = 15%
(total of 30% for assignments).

quizzes).

Final Project
The final creative project is worth 30% of the course grade.
Final projects will be presented the last week of classes.
In-class performance
Overall class participation is worth 10% of the course grade.
