Choose one (1) of the following scenarios and provide a detailed answer. Use the back of this sheet for your answer.
1. You have been hired to compose the sound track for a 30-second TV commercial for Johnson's Baby Powder. The director wants to hear the sound of a baby crying turning gradually into contented laughter, underscored by quiet nursery rhymes. The director requests a Macintosh-compatible file of CD-quality sound. Using what you have learned in Music 17, describe how you will accomplish this.
2. Your Music History professor asks you to give a computer-based multimedia presentation to the class on an obscure multimedia artist named "Nam Lep Pok." He tells you that he thinks there is a web site about Nam Lep Pok, but he can't remember where. You will give the presentation in Harper Hall. Using what you have learned in Music 17, describe how you will accomplish this.
3. The Drama department has asked your help with a scene in which the spirit of J.S. Bach returns to play some ghoulish music on a family's home organ. The actor who portrays Bach will pantomime (fake) his performance; you must supply the music. Using what you have learned in Music 17, describe how you will accomplish this.
