EMPLOYMENT HISTORY: September 1968 through present, Department of Economics and Business Administration, Furman University; tenured 1974; promoted to Associate Professor, 1975; leave of absence from Furman University during 1976-77 academic year to serve as visiting associate professor of management in Troy State University's M.S. in Management Program in Europe; promoted to Full Professor at Furman University, 1984; appointed the David C. Garrett, Jr., Professor of Economics, 1993; served as department chair, 1988-1993; given Emeritus status and retired May 31, 2008.
