Genetic Example
Segregation probabilities of progeny from an F1 cross
P(RR) = 1/4
P(Rr) = 1/2
P(rr) = 1/4
RR & Rr are dominant, what is probability of obtaining either RR or Rr. Use sum rule:
P(RR or Rr) = P(RR) + P(Rr)
=1/4 + 1/2
=3/4
