- TFIIA, TFIIB,TFIID,TFIIE,TFIIF,TFIIH, TFIIJ
TFIID: many polypeptide subunits
- TBP = TATA box-binding protein
- TAF = TBP-associated factors
- TBP binds to TATA box, bringing the rest of TFIID (the TAFs) along
