An Abstract is a summary of the subject matter within your paper. The abstract of your paper should come before the main body of the paper and should include the manner in which your subject was researched, what you found through your research efforts, and your conclusions on the subject matter. An abstract is designed to summarize the following paper, article or journal to the point where the reader can tell just from looking at the abstract if the following material will be helpful to them. Knowing that this is the goal, focus on keeping the abstract short - about 100 words.
