Landrum is a small town of just a few thousand people, nestled among horse farms and pastures, near the foothills of the Blue Ridge mountains. The downtown features several cafes, antique stores, book stores, gift shops and specialty shops. It's located at the crossroads of Highways 176 and 14 in South Carolina.

Landrum High School is on Redland Road, just off of Highway 14. It is adjacent to the junior high and next door to the elementary school,with approximately 375 students in grades 9-12.
