- Go into MSWord and open a NEW document Click on
FILE - NEW.
- On the menu bar at the top of the screen, click on "Insert"
and then "Frame".
- A dialogue box will open, asking if you want to change
from NORMAL to PAGE LAYOUT view. Click on YES.

- Your arrow-shaped cursor will change to a crosshatch cursor.
Use the cursor to draw a box the approximate size of the picture
you wish to insert. To do this, place the cursor in the position
of the upper left-hand corner of the box you are about to draw,
hold down the LEFT mouse button and drag the mouse from left
to right to draw the top of the box. Don't let go! Now drag
the cursor straight down what will be the right side of your box
and the other three sides will be drawn automatically. When you
have finished the box, release the mouse button.
- Click the mouse inside the box. The cursor will automatically
jump to the upper left corner of the box.
- Return to the menu bar at the top of the screen and click on
"Insert" and then "Picture".
- A dialogue box that looks like this will pop up:
