Lomographa semiclarata


This delicate bluish-grey moth looks a little like a lycaenid butterfly – indeed, when I first saw it I wondered a bit myself! The caterpillar feeds on various shrubs of the Rosaceae, such as Ocean Spray Holodiscus discolor.
