Eulithis xylina


The several species of this genus are known in amateur circles as “phoenix moths”. The caterpillars, which feed on Ocean Spray Holodiscus discolor and Crab Apple Pyrus fusca, can be recognized by the black-and-white collar between the first and second thoracic segments.
