A MILLENNIAL SAMPLER OF SOUTH CAROLINA POETRY

A Millennial Sampler of South Carolina Poetry was published in 2005. Edited by Gilbert Allen and William Rogers, the anthology includes an introduction by Gilbert Allen.

Forty-six South Carolina poets are represented in the collection. All of these poets had continuously lived and/or worked in South Carolina since January 1, 2000--hence the title of the collection. The anthology aims to represent all South Carolinians: male and female, black and white, rural and urban, academic and non-academic, young and old. The poems in the book represent many different subjects, styles, and tones.
