The "Spelling" section
allows access to the phonemes through their spellings. Each of the letters below
leads to a page listing spellings that represent some single phoneme in OE,
ME, EME, or PDE. For
example, if the spelling of a phoneme is a or begins with a, it
will be listed on the "a" page--a, ai, au,
augh, and so on.
