Canada Geese are found on
Furman Lake sporadically throughout much of the
year, sometimes seeking refuge on other bodies of water on campus. Their
numbers increase dramatically during the summer months and again during
the winter months. The flux in numbers is due to the intermingling of two
distinct populations that reside in South Carolina: migratory birds and
permanent residents. |
