Double-crested Cormorants
are typically seen a handful of times each year on or around the Furman
Lake, mostly during the migration months. On November 21, 2008, upwards of
125 birds chose Furman Lake as a resting spot during their southern
migration . On April 20, 2008, another 35-40 birds took up on the lake. |
