Ring-necked Ducks make
Furman Lake their home during the winter months. The number of individual
ducks fluctuates throughout the winter, but at least a few can be found on
almost any given day. These birds are second only to Coots with regard to
length of their winter residence. Male (top) and female (bottom) are
pictured. |
