The Melting of PANI

The "as grown" is very rough at 19,000x magnification in a scanning electron microscope.

At 380 °C, little has changed as long as the experiment is done under an inert atmosphere.

At 400 °C the material has softened and begun to flow.

By 420 °C, the film has become extremely smooth.
