Ragnarok and Norse Myth indicate that in the end of the world in which the gods die. Thus we've moved from Mayan gods to Norse gods, from monsoon, a natural disaster, to the end of the world, in which natural disasters play a role in many mythologies, and from corn, a symbol of fertility, to another mythos in which the fertility of the land (represented by Freya and Freyur, Norse gods of fertility).
